2019 Spring Soccer Information
Northland Sports Alliance offers soccer for boys and girls 3 years through 6th grade.
Registration runs through February 22, 2019 without penalty. After that date we will do our best to accommodate your request but can not guarantee a spot for your child.
Divisions are determined by a child's grade in school.
ACADEMY PROGRAM - Our Academy program is designed for the little ones. They meet on Saturday mornings for one hour where they have a 30 minute practice, followed by a 30 minute game. We use trainers to work with the kids and teach them to love the game of soccer in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We do rely on Parent Coordinators to communicate with the team, pick up t-shirts, schedule pictures, etc. You do not have to coach the team but are more the manager. No score or standings are kept.
PONY PROGRAM - Our pony program is designed for the Kindergarten age child who still wants the 30 minute practice and 30 minute game format. They meet on Saturday and / or Sunday afternoons for 8 games. We still use trainers for this age group and rely on parent coordinators. No score or standings are kept.
KINDERGARTEN YDL - Our YDL program is the next step up for the child who wants to practice during the week and play games on the weekends. Score and standings are kept. This division is coached by parent volunteers.
UNIFORMS - NSA will supply jerseys for all teams and players as a part of the league registration fee. Jerseys are designed to be used for two years (four seasons). Teams may decide to purchase uniforms on their own. If a team decides to purchase uniforms and elects not to wear NSA uniforms, there is no discount in the registration fee.
PRACTICES - Practice times and locations are determined by the coach of the team. Teams practice at Tiffany Springs Park and schools in the Park Hill School District. Fields and times are allotted at the coaches meeting.
WE NEED COACHES - NSA teams are coached by parent volunteers who donate their time and energy to provide these programs for our kids. Parent involvement as a coach or assistant coach is strongly encouraged at all levels of our soccer program. Anyone interested in coaching or assisting can indicate so on their child's registration form or contact the league office for additional information. We appreciate all our coaches who step up and help us offer the best program we can.
COACHES MEETING - The coaches meeting will be held the week of February 25th. Coaches will be notified of the exact time and location. Coaches please plan on attending this important meeting.
1. Before the rosters are finalized on March 1st we will refund the entire fee less a $10 administrative fee.

WEATHER HOTLINE is 1-800-599-0673 - Every attempt is made to update the hotline as soon as we determine games are cancelled. We update two hours before game times. We only update the hotline when we cancel so if you hear an old date and it's within two hours of the first game, we are playing.
