Team registrations are available. Team fee is $1000. No uniforms are included in this discounted price.
Divisions are determined by a child's grade in school.
FUN PROGRAM - Our Fun program is designed for kidsin Kindergarten and First Grade who have not participated in basketball before. They meet on Saturday mornings starting in January for one hour where they have a 30 minute practice, followed by a 30 minute game. We use trainers to work with the kids and teach them to love the game of basketball in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. No score or standings are kept.
INTERMEDIATE PROGRAM - Our Intermediate program is designed for the Kindergarten and First Grader who has had some basketball experience already and is ready for game situations. They practice during the week (scheduled by the coach through us) with games on Saturdays starting in December. Score and standings are kept. All teams are coached by parent volunteers.
SECOND GRADE THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE - Our 2nd - 8th grade program practices during the week (scheduled by the coach through us) with games on Saturdays starting in December. Score and standings are kept. This division is coached by parent volunteers.
UNIFORMS - NSA will supply jerseys for all teams and players as a part of the league registration fee. Teams may decide to purchase uniforms on their own. If a team decides to purchase uniforms and elects not to wear NSA uniforms, there is no discount in the registration fee.
PRACTICES - Practice times and locations are determined by the coach of the team. Teams practice at schools in the Park Hill School District.
WE NEED COACHES - NSA teams are coached by parent volunteers who donate their time and energy to provide these programs for our kids. Parent involvement as a coach or assistant coach is strongly encouraged at all levels of our soccer program. Anyone interested in coaching or assisting can indicate so on their child's registration form or contact the league office for additional information. We appreciate all our coaches who step up and help us offer the best program we can.
TEAM REGISTRATION - Team registrations are available. When you register as a team, NSA does not provide any jerseys. You are responsible for jerseys and your roster - meaning you could have 5 or 15 on your team if you want. NSA does not add players to teams that register as a team.
COACHES MEETING - The coaches meeting will be held Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:30 PM at Congress Middle School. Coaches please plan on attending this important meeting. Practices start in November.
1. Before the rosters are finalized at the coaches meeting we will refund the entire fee less a $10 administrative fee.
2. Between the time the rosters are finalized at the coaches meeting and the season begins on November 1st we will refund 50% of the fee.
3. Once the league season begins (November 1st) there will be no refunds.
WEATHER HOTLINE is 1-800-599-0673 - Every attempt is made to update the hotline as soon as we determine games are cancelled. We update two hours before game times. We only update the hotline when we cancel so if you hear an old date and it's within two hours of the first game, we are playing.
